So yesterday i was biking home from my friends house and i was on the sidewalk. As i just past chipotle and coffee bean, this couple walking their dog is coming towards me so i slow down and squeeze myself to the side and smile at them. the man acknowledges me with a nod, but then his wife freaking start pointing at the street and goes, “Look. thats a bike lane. the bike lane, got it?”
usually i would ignore people like her but her tone was just rude and i wasn’t going to let someone who didnt understand the rules of the road lecture me. so if you go in teh bike lane, you obviously want to be heading in teh same direction as the traffic was, but i wasnt so i stayed on the sidewalk. knowing this, i turned back and said, “this is the wrong side of the street ma’am,” and biked off.
